Answer 1

Answer: Anaconda plan

Explanation:

The Anaconda plan was a military strategy proposed early in the American Civil War. The plan called for a naval blockade of the Confederate Littoral (seaside), a thrust down the Mississippi, and the strangulation of the South by Union land and naval forces.

Like an Anaconda strangles its prey, the plan "strangles" the south.

I hope this explains everything clearly.

Answer 2

Answer:

The anaconda plan

Explanation:

The north believed if they could starve the south they could win the war

Answer:

Explanation:

Question A
What was the Protestant Reformation?

The protestant reformation was a significant part of European history in the 1500s. It was a religious movement that swept through Europe, which, like the name suggests, created a new branch of Christianity known as Protestantism. Prior to the protestant reformation, the Catholic Church had extensive control over Europe.

What are the 95 Theses?

Seeing problems with the state of the Catholic Church, namely, corruption and contradiction, a professor by name of Martin Luther decided to write the 95 Theses in 1517. It's called the 95 theses because the document included 95 ideas about the Catholic Church, many of which contradicted or challenged the teachings of the church. As a result, the church, with its large amount of political power, ended up going after Luther, and he became largely wanted as his theses were hugely distributed and printed.

Question B

Who discovered Bacteria?

In the late 17th century, Anthony van Leeuwenhoek discovered bacteria when closely examining pond water. Although microscopes had been around for decades, he was able to build his own with lenses that he ground himself, in order to see these tiny microorganisms. His single-lens microscopes were much more effective than existing microscopes that were only able to see plant cells- which are much larger than bacteria.

Who are these other people?

Réne Descartes

A famous mathematician and natural scientist that is known as the father of modern philosophy, that also founded analytical geometry.

John Calvin

Another leader in the Protestant Reformation, important in the founding of Calvinism, but has little to do with the 95 Theses.

Roger Bacon

A 13th-century scientist that made considerable steps in experimental science.

Nicolaus Copernicus

An astronomer that recognized the planets rotated around the sun (rather than Earth being the center), and that the Earth rotated on its own axis as well.

What do you know about Treaty of Versailles?

On June 28, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was ratified. The most significant pact of World War I, it put an end to hostilities between Germany and the majority of the Allied Powers.

Exactly five years after the murder of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which started the war, it was signed in the Palace of Versailles. Separate treaties were signed by the other Central Powers on the German side.

The Versailles Treaty was never ratified by the United States, who instead signed a separate peace agreement with Germany. Despite the fact that fighting ended on November 11, 1918, it took the Allies six months of talks at the Paris Peace Conference to reach a peace treaty. Germany was compelled to engage in the negotiations after being forbidden to do so.

What is logical fallacy?

A logical fallacy is an error in reasoning that makes your argument less effective and convincing. And you want to be able to spot these fallacies in other people's arguments so you can call them out or fix your own strategy.

There are two major types of logical fallacies, formal and informal. In formal fallacies, there's a problem with how you structure your argument, and how you're making your points. You might be speaking the truth, but the logic breaks down because of the way you're putting your arguments together.

In informal fallacies, there's a problem with what you're saying, and the information might be incorrect or misleading.

and possibly The number of German casualties and their previous losses likely made it difficult for Germany to recover. but im not 100% sure I hope this helps

I think France had the strongest military during WWII, because the German Invasion of France during 1940 was a easy win for Hitler and Germany. But again, it could be strategy, not man-power. I also don’t think Canada played a huge roll in the War. I think they joined because the UK was in the war and so did other Commonwealth Countries, like Australia. The main key players in WWII were probably the Soviet Union and the United States. France still existed under Nazi rule (though it was called Vichy France) and was probably a key player too. The Allied Invasion of Normandy was a big turning point in the War, and Germany did see a lot of casualties, so I think the answer is the first two scenarios; the Normandy invasion was a significant turning point during the war and Germany experienced the most casualties during the Normandy invasion.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, and Carnival is a celebration that takes place before Lent. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a 40-day period of fasting, prayer, and penance in the Christian tradition. It is a day of reflection and repentance, and Christians mark the day by receiving ashes on their foreheads.

The ashes are made from the burning of palm leaves from the previous year's Palm Sunday celebrations. The ashes are a symbol of death and repentance, and they remind Christians that they are dust and to dust they shall return.

Lent is a period of preparation for Easter, and it is a time for Christians to focus on their faith and to grow closer to God. During Lent, Christians often give up something that they enjoy, such as food, alcohol, or entertainment. They may also attend church more often, pray more regularly, or volunteer their time to help others.
